Peter McCormick
Peter is a highly experienced engineer in the development and integration of mechanical devices, software, algorithms, patents, and industrial automation products and controls. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and has earned both a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Peter's innovative thinking has resulted in 26 patents covering a wide range of mechanical automation components, control systems, GPS devices, motor drives, wireless telemetry, IOT, and electro-mechanical products used in a variety of industries.
Additionally, as the founder of the industrial robotics company EOA Systems, which was ultimately sold to Dover Corporation, Peter has deep expertise in product development, many robotic systems, software languages, circuit design, microcontrollers, low-power sensors, wireless modems, and sensing methods. His focus is projects related to the development and integration of mechanical devices, software, and automation products specifically tailored to customer needs.
Richard S. Kumpf
Rick has many years of experience in software development and business services. After a career practicing securities law, Rick founded several software companies which became a catalyst to several brand-name internet sites. Rick was instrumental in creating the strategy, raising substantial equity through venture capital and investment banks, recruiting a world-class management team, operating the company, creating widely used products and structuring key relationships with strategic software and content partners. Rick's entrepreneurial experience with direct marketing, technology and e-commerce have led to positions as a consultant, advisory board member and board member. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University and a JD in Law from Texas Tech University.
Daniel Irizarry
Daniel has broad sales and management background in the technology and retail markets. Before merging with Lasso, Daniel served as President of DragonTMC, Inc. located in Coppell, TX. Before that, he was the VP of Sales with Geoforce, leading the North American regional sales team, building and managing a global network of channel partners, and planning and executing growth strategies. Daniel joined Geoforce after leaving Dallas-based technology startup, SAVR Communications (now OnAsset Intelligence). While there, he served as the Executive Sales Director and helped Fortune 500 companies like Wells Fargo, Visa and Caterpillar implement RFID technology to improve their operations.
Conor Brady
Conor has more than a decade of experience leading teams in the telematics and robotics industry. While at Geoforce, he led the software team to create award-winning field service products during a period of tremendous growth. For the last several years, Conor has been focused on the commercial drone industry, first at DroneDeploy and then at Ware. He’s worked with teams that build platforms that have generated orthomosaic maps sourced from drone imagery for millions of acres across the globe and was a major influence at Ware during the time that they brought to market the first fully autonomous indoor drone solution in the warehouse automation industry. Conor has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Bijal Modi
Dr. Bijal Modi has more than 20 years of research and software architecture experience in the web, mobile and telecommunications industries. He is a Founder and Chief Architect at Rinira Technologies, a company founded on the principles of customer focus, innovation and unbeatable ROI. Dr. Modi worked closely with Peter on robotics projects and was a Director of Application Development at CollabNet focusing on web-based collaboration. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Paul Nguyen
Paul has extensive hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical equipment and comes from a diverse industrial and technology background. Paul graduated from Meramec College for electrical training and the Science and Technology College in Vietnam. Paul worked with Peter for many years in the industrial robotics market. Paul is responsible for prototyping new products, overseeing repairs and assists with final assembly and testing.
